Chapter projects and activities we are involved in include:

* Give guidance and help research prospective members NSDAR applications

* Provide new member welcome packets and seminars

* Participation in the very popular Fairfield Veterans Day Parade

* Project Patriot involvement including sending care packages to troops

* Team Chief Solano walks in the annual National Cemetary Walkathon Fundraiser

* Volunteer for the North Bay Stand Down in Dixon

* Award scholarships to Solano County graduating high school seniors

* Local schools participate in the NSDAR American History, Christopher Columbus Essay 

  Contests, and in the Good Citizens award 

* Publish an annual yearbook

* Participate in NSDAR (National) and CSDAR (State) conventions, conferences, and activities

*Honor Vietnam Veterans during monthly meetings as part of the Anniversary of the Vietnam War Commemoration

*Reading names at the Vietnam War memorial traveling Wall

*Chief Solano Chapter 50th Anniversary celebration - 10/15/16

*Attend Sacramento Valley National Cemetery Memorial ceremony for those interred without next of kin

*Attend Naturalization Ceremonies - hand out flag codes and flag pins

*Vietnam War Commemorative Partnership

*Adoption of ward at the Veterans Home of California in Yountville

*Quarterly publication of our Chapter newsletter - The Courier

*Just lunch events for members to gather held throughout the year
